Moonrite was formed in June, 1995 as a Temple to the Old Ways and is currently based in Maryland, just north of Washington DC.
Based in the Alexandrian tradition of Wicca, with some influences from the Gardnerian and Celtic paths. It is open to anyone who seeks to find himself or herself spiritually and wishes to bring themselves into a personal awareness of their part in the balance of nature.
Lady Leah, is the High Priestess and founder of the coven. She has been exploring this path for 14 years and has been a teacher and guide for 7 years. Lord Gryffyn is her consort and High Priest. He has been actively exploring his path for 21 years and has been a teacher and guide for 10 years.
We offer classes in our tradition, as well as other more generic open workshops at various locations throughout the Maryland/Washington area and at the Pagan gatherings we attend.
