Moonrite Classes

Currently there are no outer-court classes offered by Moonrite at this time. An outercourt class is one offered to people who are not initiated members of the Temple. Below is an outline describing the Introduction to Wicca class, which is an outercourt class generally offered once a year in winter or early spring.

Introduction to Wicca

As the above title states, this is an introductory class in the art of Wicca, which is a Pagan Religion.  My coven, Moonrite Coven, is considered a traditional group in that beliefs, practices, and attitudes have been handed down to us from people in the past who found these things useful to their spiritual development. Moonrite Coven is descended from the line of Du Bandia Grasail, an Alexandrian tradition.

Alexandrian Wicca is characterized by a close relationship with Nature and uses symbols drawn from it in our spiritual work.  The cornerstone of this work is ceremonial magick. We use rituals, as well as other practices, to magickally transform ourselves and grow spiritually. This course is designed to lead you through discovering how we conceptualize ourselves and the world we live in. You will then have an opportunity to experience the process in a ritual designed by class members.
