Ten Truths to Enlightenment
Leah Moonrite

Divine Love is unconditional, and all encompassing. It is all-powerful, the kind of power that allows us to grow without judgment of ourselves, or of others. It allows us to let others grow in that same way. Divine Love is everything and nothing. Being aware of Divine Love, we must listen quietly for the essence of our desires. We do not have to act upon achieving these desires, but only hear the music it makes.

Wisdom is the ability to utilize knowledge in a meaningful way. To know when, where, and how to use what we have learned, or to use it at all. In order to learn we must recognize how much control our psyche has over us, and to exercise control over the interpretations of the information obtained. We must have the awareness to be able to balance direct thoughts with the effects of our interpretations.

Understanding is frequently equated with the process of reasoning. It is understanding with your soul even if you don't understand with your intellect. It is knowing that the Divine Love that exists within you will not change because of circumstances. To know understanding, is to think without the ego. Your ego creates boundaries, and those boundaries limit the Divine Love.

Knowledge is gained through experience and effort. Through the trials and errors of experience we come to an understanding that the universe is balanced on our actions. Being aware of that knowledge is taking responsibility for knowing that we support the universe.

Loving-Kindness is the primary ingredient in all human relationships. It is the focus of self-improvement. It is the vehicle through which parents transmit a basic sense of love and security to their children. The key is to find the balance of giving without depleting ourselves. It is being aware of the part of ourselves that yields, (wants to give it all) and knowing when it is necessary to do so or not, in order to keep balance within ourselves.

Strength is understood as a principle of measure, limit and restraint. Strength contains boundless love and distributes it according to our ability to receive it. Having spiritual strength is knowing when to practice restraint in order to create a balance in relationships with others and with oneself. By practicing this kind of strength we are preparing ourselves to receive the Divine Love.

Beauty is a harmonizing principle, which tempers the boundlessness of Divine Love, and the restraints of our strength. It brings reflection to generosity and consideration to restraint. This balancing is understood as the foundation for harmony. Being aware of Beauty in the universe is to Live in Blessedness.

Victory (triumph of emotion) is achieved when we understand the ebb and flow of love created within us. Victory is obtained, not over anything but through finding the balance within. It signifies feeling emotion, a sense of soul, and achievement in the sense of being loved in return for loving. (I love there for I am loved). This kind of victory inspires all that lives to achieve its highest function. It symbolizes a human reflection of Divine Love satisfying the souls who search for it. To know victory is to follow the steps of the Divine dance, and know that it continues forever.

Honor is intellectual. We have our own ideas of who and what Divinity is. We all live by a code of ethics, and this is where the building blocks for contacting divinity are created. We form codes of honorable conduct so that we may work towards unfolding the universe.

Foundation, illusion, intuition, primal instinct are in this realm. To create a secure basis for our spiritual growth we must look at and beyond the reflections in order to see the truth. These are revealed as allegories, allusions, euphemisms,or anything reflecting their actual realities.. Within this truth, we find eternal love. We cannot look directly at Divinity because of its intense power. But we can view its illumination through ourselves.

The Kingdom is the place where we become aware of our existence. It is manifested through thought and through speech. Like the moon, we shine by the reflected light of Divinity. It is through our Kingdom that everything comes into finite being. Knowing that our Kingdom exists is knowing that the divine spark is made manifest through us.
